These small dishes are made to fit the hand, encouraging a
closer and more comfortable experience.
The Canteen Cup
The cup, as its name suggests, is inspired by the ergonomic, hand-hugging shape of a traditional canteen. Drink from one end or the other with a thumb on the inside of the curve. The simple line shapes are hand drawn before glazing and firing, echoing the playfulness in the form.
The Curve Bowl
With sharper lines and more dramatic angles than the Canteen, the Curve Bowl is a squat and playful dish. The harder angles make it easy to hold in one hand, and the wide opening makes it great for finger foods.
The Cutaway Bowl
The Cutaway is a great bowl for the extremes. Insulating cork protects the hand
from hot or cold, allowing for that cozy and close experience. Even when
foods aren’t so kind to the touch The Cutaway is pleasantly tactile.
THE CUTAWAY BOWL
The cork granules are mixed with adhesive and packed into a mold that is put under extreme pressure in a hydraulic press.
The mold produces a block that fits perfectly around the porcelain blank for final shaping.
